Produce Hut

I have been employed at the Produce Hut since I was 14 years old.  At this job I have many responsibilities which include opening and closing the store, maintaining the rotation cycle of the produce, cleaning, running the cashier, keeping track of the items we sell, creating the weekly schedule, along with many other small tasks. 

 

Summer Babysitting Position

​2017 - present

 

During the summer months, I babysit three young children all under the age of 10 at least three times a week.  Some of my duties are preparing breakfast, lunch and snacks throughout the day.  I also have to aid the children with their assigned lesson that they have to complete for their summer work.  I am also responsible for taking the children outside and have them be active for a certain amount of time, along with finding education yet fun activities for the children to participate in.   

 

Weekly Babysitting Position

Three times a week after school, I babysit my neighbor Shane who is eight years old.  Shane is very passionate about playing sports so when the weather's nice, I always have to be outside playing a variety of games.  When Shane comes home from school, I have to prepare a healthy snack for him to eat as well as prepare him for his practices that he has after school.  I also have to make sure Shane completes all of his homework before playtime.  At six o'clock, I have to safely drive Shane to his practice.
